Whether you are an artist, photographer, maker or you just would like to enjoy a nice summers day out – this festival is a celebration of everything Art, Craft, Design and Photography.
Patchings is set in 60 acres of Nottinghamshire Countryside and is in its 27th year! Advanced tickets to attend are available on their website or you can pay entry on the day. There is free parking available.
They have a wide selection of Marquee tents with suppliers selling art materials from your favourite brands.
Makers marquee’s where you can buy a diverse range of products including glass, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, sculpture and much more direct from the makers themselves.
Painting marquees which is a huge space showcasing a number of artists working in different mediums for you to watch in the art of and purchase from within their make shift mini studio’s.
Demonstration marquees with hands on, test and try, and demo’s from a variety of Art Material suppliers, societies etc including the renowned E&M Glass Blowers that do a fascinating demonstration every hour. All demonstrations are free except for those held in the Festival Marquee.
The Festival Demonstration marquee is a 3000 seated audio visual space and showcases special guests each year. Demonstration tickets are £3 each and are available to purchase with the advanced entrance tickets, or limited availability on the day of the event.
Our club organises a bus trip to attend each year as it is a feast of art, crafts and supplies. If you are interested in finding out more contact Brian, our Social Secretary.
