8th July 2020

Given that lockdown restrictions are due to be eased we are going ahead with our next monthly meeting on July 8th. Many months ago Roy Carless suggested the possibility of an outdoor meeting where members could practise their artistic skills, specifically in Hart Village Churchyard.

He is happy to lead it, & no doubt offer his usual kind and helpful support.
For those who don’t know the venue, it’s spacious so there’s no problem with social distancing!

There is a variety of inspiration from the church itself to gravestones, trees and long views across the village to Hart Mill, and in a northerly direction to farms and fields.

There is plenty of room for parking just outside the churchyard and the church is signposted from the village, though it is easily recognisable by its upstanding square tower. Please note that the church itself will not be open, therefore there will be no facilities on site.

Liz Littlefair will aim to be there from 6.15; we suggest members arrive any time after that to take advantage of the evening light. Of course the temperature will drop so our meeting might not last until the usual 9.00 pm. Bring whatever art materials you would like to work with, something to sit on and an extra layer or two of clothes!

This meeting is weather-dependent. If you would like to go please let Liz know to give an idea of numbers.

The meeting is informal so none of the usual club business will be dealt with.

Visitors are welcome at a charge of £5
