Art Club Painting Group

Our long established painting group meets the second Saturday of the month at the Salvation Army Hall, Park Road, Hartlepool from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. There is a £4 per head contribution, to help pay for the accommodation and non-members are welcome.

The hall is easily accessible with a free car park and is only about 400 yards from York Road bus stops. Tea and coffee facilities are available for a small contribution, bring a packed lunch if you wish.

Please note that there is no tutor at most sessions, although we do sometimes hold workshops with renowned artists, when a higher contribution is payable, towards their fees.

Come along and get to know members by joining them for a really friendly and relaxed extended opportunity to create art in all media. This is an informal gathering so bring along your own art project and materials and enjoy the day painting with like minded people. You will need to bring your own materials, although there is a limited stock of paints, pencils and paper, for people who fancy trying different media and help is willingly given by other members.

It is a lively, friendly group and you can decide how long you are able to stay.

If you would like further information email info@hartlepool-art-club.co.uk or contact our treasurer.

Covid-19 put a halt on the painting days sessions for most of 2020/2021 but we are very glad to have them back in our schedule.
