We welcome Andrew Storrie, who will demonstrate landscapes in watercolour and will also facilitate a workshop the following day (see below). Andrew was born in Middlesbrough, studied art at Bradford college and now lives in East Yorkshire where he runs watercolour classes to suit beginners and improvers. Elected a member of the ‘British Watercolour Society’ and twice selected a prize winner by the Dalesman magazine for the artist whose paintings best reflect the Dales way of life, his work
in watercolour is spontaneous, reflecting the mood and atmosphere of the surrounding area. He draws a great deal of inspiration for his paintings from the Dales, Wold villages and farms throughout the changing seasons. He aims to tell a story, evoking memories with each painting that the viewer can relate to and participate in.
